"Oakenhill? - It was, well, a place of peace. It was built on a low hill, many tall Oaks grew there, and their canopies were criss-crossed with bridges, buildings and ropes - we squirrels lived there. Then underneath the trees lived colony of Moles - they were great friends - if you could understand them that is!"he smiles wryly "Grandmother Holly - was always willing to listen to a young squirrel's problems - she was mother to everyone there. She died peacefully in her sleep about 5 seasons ago. She had injured her leg on the way there when she first left Mossflower - it never really healed, but she lived with it and shamed all those with injuries not to complain!"

*Lady Amber sips some strawberry cordial, and smiles at the description of her sister's home.* Sounds like the sort of place Holly would love. She never liked war, in fact, she hated it! But she was friendly with all creatures, even the vermin, until they invaeded Redwall. And she was never one to complain either! *Lady Amber is lost for a moment, her head alive with memories. The hall, and everthing in it dissovles, and Amber is in the middle of a wood, playing hide and seek wih her friends, and with Holly and Wicks. The ground spins, and Lady Amber finds herself lying on the floor, in an unfamiliar room.* Who are you? Where am I?

*Lady Amber drinks the cordial, and calms down.* Really Moonwind, I'm OK. I just got lost in a memory, that's all. No need for any healer. But I think perhaps I should stay off the subject of my sister for a while.

Stealth listens to Lady Amber and nods understanding. Then she listens to Moonwind's home. "Wow! Oakenhill sounds a lot like my old place. Though my place was named Noonvale. Oh silly me! I come from the North not the West. The west was where I was last. Where I came it was just like this. My parents were like Martin. And I'm like Martin's son...if he had a son that is..."

I do not go around slaying poor beasts withlut a good reason, you know that! Lynn winks playfully, "Without good reason, sure. It was Martin's idea to build the abbey. He wanted a place where all could find a home or rest." The otter's demeanor turns more gloomy, "It seems that everyone has fallen on rough times, friends. Personally I could never know what any of you went through. Let's promise, as a whole, that atleast the next generation does not have to go through the same pain we did."

Lynn, the Abbey is build, Mossflower wood is flourish (sp?), the next generation will never have to bear the hardships and sorrow we had to, not if I can help it! *Lady Amber helps herslef to some nuts, and turns to Moonwind.* You can go anywhere in Redwall, at the moment. Perhaps when the abbey is fuller, certain places in it will be private, but not yet. Unless of course, Lynn has reserve the river for otters.

"Well if the river's just for otters then the tree-house should be just for squirrels!" laughs Moonwind

Yes, but I'm in charge of the tree-house, and Lynn's in charge of the river. I say everyone's allowed in the tree-house, but it's up to Lynn who can/can't go to the river.

(I'm sorry if I don't post as often as you guys. It seems that I have only been able to get on the computer every other day.)
"Sure! You can come and visit. I'm thinking about handing out building permits for homes around the river but that's only for otters. But since we have none at the moment please feel welcomed to visit."
