You enter a large circular room, with lots of light flooding in, and low benches with bowls of herbs and water on them. A young red squirrel greets you.
Welcome to healing classes. I am Lady Amber, the chief healer. here you will learn the basics of herble medicines and anciant remidies. These skills may be enough to save someone's life. So come, sit down, and when some more of you have arrived, we'll begin.

*Abbot Mortimer hobbles in* Ah! Lady Amber! Could you help me brush up on my healing skills? I haven't used them in so long, and with the new rat threat growing, healing might come in handy.

Stealth scurries in unnoticed, as is her way until she speaks, "I would like to join the classes, please."

"My knowledge is fragmented - I know but what I have stumbled across - I would love to have a dedicated course of study - may I join you?"

Of course you may join us, Stealth and Moonwind! Now, I would like you to take a seat at one of the benches. I think we'll start with some general remadies for cuts, gashes, and wound sof that sort. For this, you need to mix the braken with the kingshorn, that's the silvery-green one. Add some warm water, and mince it all together. You should make a kind of paste. This can act as an antiseptic. Anyone haivng problems?

Stealth sits down on a bench and begins mixing the two ingrediants together. Pretty soon she finishes and then goes to get a bowl of warm water. After that she goes back to her bench and adds the water stirring it together.

"Okay Auntie!" Moonwind takes a seat and chops up the kingsthorn then adds the bracken, he minces them with a small knife then places them into a bolw and adds warm water from the kettle. He stirs until a paste is formed, he takes it up to Lady Amber"Is this right?"

*Lady Amber walks round the benches, watching the Abbot andthe young squirrels working.* Moonwind, you've mixed the two well, but you've added a little too much water to it. It's fine, but it won't be quite so strong. Stealth, you don't have enough kingshorn in your, but other than that, perfect. Just a little more mixing, and it'll be ready. Well done, the both of you!

"Less Water? so more like half a cup than a cup?"

Yes, about half a cup to every small bowl of herbs. But there really wasn't anything wrong with yours, it just could've been a little stronger.

"I like to get things right though" he waves to his Aunt then starts again, he minches the herbs as before then carefully dribbles the water from a cup into the mix, he mixes and the paste reaches a consitency of thick mud "Is this better?"

Stealth nods and adds a little more kingshorn. Then she stirs it until it resembles a thick paste. "Is that better?"

Ah, Moonwind, I see you are a pefectionist, just like Holly! Yes, that's better, just the right amount. Stealth, yes, you've done it. Really, that was excellent for both of you. Now, could you put it in jars for me? I'll keep it, until we need it. That may be alor sooner than we think!

Stealth nods. "Can do marm!" She says politely bowing. She then fills a jar up and labels it the same way as Moonwind. She puts it in the store cuboard and waits for their next class.
